Megabass Nada ND762L

The Megabass Nada ND762L is a lightweight spinning rod from Megbass. With its length of 2,30m (7'6") and a casting weight of max. 12g, this rod is perfect for fishing for perch and trout. It consists of 2 pieces and has an “Almost” action. Thanks to these properties, it charges extremely well and shoots the bait precisely to the spot

First impression:

Simple, black without causing a lot of fuss, just the way I like it. The processing of the components is as expected, “perfect”. Megabass has done a great job here again. The roll holder fits very well in the hand. The short handle also allows the rod to be fished from a boat, kayak or belly boat.

practical test:

Unfortunately, I was able to test the action of the rod during the last test by drilling a large branch. It's unbelievable how much power this fine rod has. Typical top action, excellent for dropshot but also very pleasant when fishing hardbait. And then their Backbone came, I was very surprised. If it wasn't for the cord with a 4kg load capacity, I would have pumped even harder. Here I can say that with this rod you can also stand up to a zander.

In my opinion, the casting weight specification is pretty accurate. A 3/0 jig with 14g and a 4" shad can also be cast and fished, but then you notice that the rod is reaching its limits. Jigs of 7-12g were ideal. But fishing for trout with spoons or other small baits is also a lot of fun. Because here the Nada offers great sensitivity.

And finally ...

I was impressed by everything about the rod, but especially by the power it brings. I fish a 2000 Daiwa Caldia with an 8lbs Sunline on the Nada. A great combination for me. The price-performance ratio is also not to be despised.
